Too often we tend to allow certain aspects of our human nature influence us by taking over our observation abilities. This can be most seen in two common factors that influences us: Sign blindness and Habituation.
Sign blindness creates blind spots that grow over time when conditions are unchanged, or normalization sets in.
Habituation is sometimes called the “Get Used to It” concept. Habituation is a psychological learning process wherein there is a decrease in response to a stimulus after being repeatedly exposed to it.
